Beginning October 2005, Ogden Publications launched another magazine – American Life & Traditions. This publication is distributed through the Ogden and Nutting Newspapers. American Life & Traditions will have excellent synergy with its sister publications Grit and CAPPER’S Magazines.

* Spreads are available on all Horizontal Ads Materials Contract and Copy Regulations: * The publisher will not be bound by any conditions, printed or otherwise, appearing on any order blank or copy instructions when such conditions conflict with American Life & Traditions regulations. Digital Requirements MEDIA: Macintosh files preferred. Ads will be accepted on 100 MB Zip disk or CD ROM. They must contain all necessary files needed to output the job, and must include a printed directory. All disks and proofs must be labeled and include company name, phone number and magazine/issue date. FILE FORMAT: Ads may be submitted in the following programs: QuarkXPress up to v. 6.0, Adobe Photoshop up to v. CS or Adobe Illustrator up to v. CS. ARTWORK: Line art used at 100% should be 600 dpi; used at 50%, it can be 300 dpi; and it should not be used at any size smaller than 50%. All colors must be saved as CMYK, or as Pantone with process separation selected. Any unused colors must be deleted. Use the Collect for Output feature under the file menu to ensure that all images and special preferences files are included with the final document. Preflighting of files is recommended. Do not use Rich Black (Rich Black is the addition of an under color to black). ARTWORK: Minimum resolution of 300 dpi for all photographs and scanned illustrations. All color artwork and photographs must be saved as CMYK. FONTS: Copies of all fonts used in a job must be provided, including those used within EPS files. Supply screen and printer fonts. Postscripts and Type 1 or Type O fonts are encouraged. Bitmapped and True Type fonts are not recommended and may be substituted. Multiple Master fonts will be separated. PROOF: Please supply a composite color proof of color files and a composite black-and-white proof for one color files at 100%. Also, crop marks must be provided with all 4-color process and black-and-white printouts.
